Quick Start Use Sources, Walls & Medium, and Static Map as the main setup inputs. Their red markers identify the primary workflow controls.

1) Load or upload a site map Use Static Map for Google map setup or Background Image for an uploaded image. Uploaded images are preferred when you need map-inclusive PNG/comparison exports.

2) Add sources and receivers Set Source Tool → Place Source and click the map. Set Receiver Tool → Place Receiver to add measurement points at homes, property lines, or other receptors.

3) Enter measured SPL correctly In ISO / SPL Heatmap, enter the client’s measured level and distance. Example: for 95 dBA measured at 1 m, use Measured SPL = 95 and Measured Distance = 1.

4) Understand the two decay controls ISO Visual Map Wave Decay affects only the animated wave overlay. ISO / SPL Heatmap controls the colored SPL map and legend.

5) Compare before and after Use Before / After Comparison to capture Baseline A and Modified B, then export a PDF/Word report. Google maps may be omitted from exported screenshots by browser security; uploaded images avoid this issue.

Controls LMB: place/draw • RMB (or ⌘): pan • Space: play/pause • Step Forward/Back works when paused.
